STADTWERKE LÜBECK? SOUNDS LIKE GAS, WATER, ELECTRICITY - BUT NOT VOLTAGE. BUT FAR FROM IT: THE COMPANY IS HELPING TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF AN ENTIRE REGION.
TASK
Development of a new brand and communication strategy: digital, regional, sustainable.
OBJECTIVE
Rejuvenate the brand, refresh the image, change perceptions.
SOLUTION
Life energy for Lübeck and the surrounding area: The brand positions itself with future-oriented topics such as fiber optics, green electricity and e-mobility - and transforms itself from a traditional energy supplier to a modern everyday companion and important innovation driver for the region.
RESULT
Eine repräsentative Umfrage von ipsos in Lübeck und Umgebung zeigte folgende Resultate:
- 94% supported brand awareness in the region
- 60% unaided brand awareness - and thus 1st place, far ahead of E.on
- 74% of Lübeck residents consider the switch to green electricity important
- 49% have consciously opted for a green electricity tariff
- 60% think that Stadtwerke Lübeck is making a positive contribution to the future
